What to bring

to Eland Safaris

South Africa can be warm to hot during the months of March, April, September and October with temperatures ranging between 65f – 85f. The months of May through August are winter and the night temperatures can drop a bit more but warming up to the mid 60’s or 70’s by midday.

Clothing & Personal Items:
3 or 4 pairs of hunting pants (zip-off legs) with belt
3 or 4 hunting shirts (preferably clothes in natural colors or camo)
Light jacket and sweater
Warm jacket and sweater (only June – August)
Comfortable hunting boots with 3 or 4 pairs of socks
Camp shoes or sneakers
Safari hat and or cap
Sunscreen
1 or 2 pairs of casual clothes for camps and travel
Prescription and personal medication (anti-malaria if required, consult your local doctor)
Sunglasses
Camera and or video camera with chargers, extra memory cards and batteries
Binoculars
